Pumpkin Kisses & Harvest Wishes from Not 2 Shabby & Kat Scrappiness

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Welcome to the “Sending you Pumpkin Kisses & Harvest Wishes” from Not 2 Shabby & Kat Scrappiness! We are thrilled you could join us on this Blog & Instagram Hop celebration! Kat Scrappiness has some of the best stamps, dies, and embellishments around and Not 2 Shabby is very excited to carry their products! Come hop with us and see what all the excitement is about!

The Blog & Instagram hops and giveaways will start Thursday, September 10 and will end on Tuesday, September 15th. We will have 4- $15 winners – 2 pulled from blog comments and 2 pulled from the Instagram comments.

Here are the steps I followed in designing this card:

1. Created a slimline card base of 8.5″ x 7″ scored at 3.5″.
2. Blended several Catherine Poolers inks to create a sunset sky, then die cut with the largest of the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Stitched Nesting slimline dies.
3. Die cut the tree from the Kat Scrappiness Crafters Essentials-Fall die collection onto white wood grained card stock and stained it brown.
4. Created a fence using a die from my stash and brown patterned paper.
5. Colored the scarecrow and pumpkin from the Not2Shabby  “Happy Fall” Stamp set and then paper-pieced the scarecrow’s jacket and hat with plaid paper.
6. Adhered the 2 sentiments from the stamp set onto clouds using the same Catherine Pooler inks as the background.
7. Adhered everything to the front of the card and added some  Kat Scrappiness “Mythical Leaves”.
8. Added matching plaid paper to the flap of a “Coffee Brown” slimline envelope from Trinity Stamps for the finishing touch!
