Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have a birthday card using the Joy Clair Designs “Floral Friendship” digital stamp collection.
This set features 4 flowers and foliage images and 4 sentiments that can be combined and separate for multiple uses.
Here are the steps I followed in designing this card:
- Created a white top layer using a “beadboard” embossing folder and adhered to a card base edged in teal ink.
- Printed and die cut one of the floral images from “Floral Friendship” digital collection.
- Tapped yellow and teal inks through a mesh screen stencil to create a faux needlepoint design on the image.
- Printed out the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the same digital set, framed it in black, and adhered to the front of the card.
- Foam-mounted the floral image.
- Added 3 teal sequins for the finishing touch. That’s it!
