For my card, I watercolored the image from the Ink on 3 “Pumpkin Patch” stamp set using their Atelier Artist Grade Fusion Inks in “Marilyn Red,” “Bee Sting Yellow,”and “Twiggy Brown” before fussy cutting it out. For my card base, I created a top layer out of green patterned parer die cut with the largest of the Kat Scrappiness “Distress Edge Rectangle Dies” and adhered it to a vanilla card base.
I die cut three of the Kat Scrappiness “Happy Thanksgiving” sentiments from the same vanilla card stock and layered them to give more dimension. For the finishing touch I use a few sequins from Kat‘s “Aww-Tum Remix” collection.

I really like the look of the Distressed Edge Rectangle Die because whenever I try to distress the edge of my card stock it doesn’t work out well at all. The ink colours work so well together to enhance the feel of this Fall card.
Sweet card. That’s a cool die cutting set. Reminds me of the deckled scissor technique. So much faster and even to use the dies! (Don’t even know where the scissors are anymore). Cute warm pumpkins.
I like the use of the distressed edge. Great color usage for the image.
