Whooo’s ready for Halloween? This little owl has traded his cozy autumn perch for a spookier spot in the woods, and I couldn’t resist giving him a Halloween makeover! Hello Crafty friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. For today’s card, I combined the Spellbinders September Small Die of the Month Club, “Owl Be Here,” with the September Stencil of the Month Club, “Changing Seasons.” This stencil created the perfect moonlit woodland background, while a few spooky bats, bare branches, and a Halloween-inspired color palette transformed this sweet little owl into the star of a frightfully fun scene. I love how a few clever tweaks can take a collection designed with one theme in mind and give it a whole new personality.

📋 Card Details:
- Created an A2 card base using Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock.
- On a layer of dark blue cardstock, I sponged black molding paste and purple, blue, gray, and orange inks over the 5 different stencil layers of the Spellbinders September 2026 Stencil of the Month Club – “Changing Seasons”.
- Adhered the finished stenciled layer to the card base.
- Die cut the elements from the Spellbinders September 2026 Small Die of the Month Club – “Owl Be There” using purple, green, orange, black, and dark gray cardstock and then assembled.
- Adhered the finished owl on his stump to the front of the card.
- White heat-embossed the sentiment (from my stash) onto purple cardstock and foam mounted it to the top right-hand corner of the card.
- Added three bats (from my stash) for the finishing touch!
