Sometimes the best backgrounds start with the scraps on your craft table! ✂️✨ Hello Crafty friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs, sharing a birthday card with a bold, graphic stripe background using a mix of elegant black and luxurious gold foiled papers. Die cutting all these strips of papers was easy using the Stripe Right Etched Die, an add-on for Spellbinder’s new the Just Add Cake Birthday Cardmaking Kit. This new die cuts the most perfect stripes in different widths for any project. The end result was a striking striped background that feels both modern and celebratory. To finish the design, I layered over the striped background a dramatic black card front embossed with a beveled Happy Birthday sentiment using a Spellbinders embossing folder. The contrast of the rich textures, glossy foils, and dimensional embossing makes this card feel extra special—perfect for celebrating someone in style! 🎉🖤✨
