Happy Thursday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing the birthday cards I made for my 10 year old grand twins. I try to make their cards somewhat identical each year, but always adding their names and their favorite colors – one grandson loves blue; the other, green.
I used several products from Kat Scrappiness to make this cards, including the Condensed Lowercase Alphabet Dies, the Condensed Numbers Dies, the Layered Balloon Cover Plate Die, and the Birthday Essentials 6×8 Paper Pad.
Card Details:
- Created two A2 top-folding white card bases.
- Adhered a solid blue and a solid green paper over the card bases using papers from the Birthday Essentials Paper Pad.
- Die cut using white cardstock 2 frames using the Balloon Cover Plate, and then again using blue and green patterned papers from the Birthday Essentials Paper Pad.
- Cut off the patterned balloons and adhered them over the white balloon bases.
- Using the Condensed Lowercase Alphabet Dies, die cut the boys’ names in a coordinating polka dot paper from the Birthday Essentials Paper Pad, adhering them over the blue and green papers.
- Die cut 2 “10s” from the solid red paper in the Birthday Essentials Paper Pad using the Condensed Numbers Dies, adhering them to the top right hand corners of the cards.
