Friend Cards

This week’s “Color Throwdown Challenge” colors were red, white, and blue —  perfect for this Memorial Day weekend. I decided to use these colors in a bit of a nontraditional setting — a Yoga studio!

The inspiration for today’s card was the April 2018 “Inspiration Challenge” sponsored by Altenew. The pink, purple, and blue color combo came together beautifully to create a galaxy background for my “Blue Moon”.

For this week’s challenge, the color combination was red, green, and white, so I pulled out Tim Holtz’s “Candied Apple,” “Mowed Lawn,” and “Peeled Paint” distress inks to do some water coloring. I chose Wplus 9’s “Kind Soul” stamp set and coordinating die to be the focal point…
