Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing my first Holiday card of the season, featuring a beautiful nativity scene with a Christmas pageant vibe. I used the Kat Scrappiness newly released “Center Stage Craft Dies” to showcase the Kat’s “Nativity Scene” die.
Along with the Kat Scrappiness Center Stage Craft Dies and Nativity Scene Craft Die, I used the new Simple Sentiments – Holiday Edition Stamps/Dies to make today’s card.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Die cut the nativity scene out of black cardstock.
- Ran the die through again using gold glitter cardstock for the star and angel.
- Die cut the stage floor from brown cardstock and adhered to the base of the nativity scene.
- Ran the die through again using white cardstock and sponged Distress Oxides inks on the background to create a night sky.
- Adhered the angel and star to the night sky.
- Die cut the stage curtains using the Center Stage Craft Dies and burgundy velvet cardstock.
- Die cut the stage curtain tie-backs from gold glitter cardstock and adhered to the curtains.
- Adhered the finished stage curtains over the the nativity scene.
- Gold heated embossed “Merry Christmas” using this sentiment from the new Simple Sentiments – Holiday Edition Stamps/Dies collection on black cardstock, framed it in gold glitter cardstock, and adhered to the bottom of the stage.
