Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a Cowboy-themed card using several products from the new Kat Scrappiness “Cowboy Quokka release.” While creating this card, I used one of my favorite techniques of cutting multiple strips of patterned paper to create a bold background.

Along with the Kat Scrappiness Cowboy Quokka Paper Pad, I also used the Cowboy Quokka Die Cut Ephemera and Cowboy Quokka Sentiments Stamp Set to make today’s card.

Card Details:

Created an A2 top-folding card using kraft cardstock.
Cut multiple strips of paper of several different widths from the Cowboy Quokka Paper Pad.

Adhered them onto the kraft card base in several different directions, leaving space between each one, and snipping off the ends that overhung the card.

With the background finished, I adhered the the cowboy couple ephemera to the bottom right corner.
Stamped the sentiment on kraft cardstock, shaded the edges, and framed it with the green paper from the Cowboy Quokka Paper Pad.

Foam mounted the finished sentiment and added it above the cowboy couple.
