Hello Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing how I made a “Multi-Fold Fun Fold” birthday card using the new Kat Scrappiness “Meet the Quouses Die Cut Ephemera” and “Magical Memories” paper pad. Inside this folded card, you’ll find “Quickey the Quokka” wishing you a “Happy Birthday” using the Kat Scrappiness “Happy Day” stamp set.
Card Details:
- Cut a piece of 12×12 black cardstock to create a 12″ x 5 1/2″ card base and then scored it at 1 3/4″, 4 3/4″ and 7 3/4″.
- Cut patterned paper strips from the Magical Memories paper pad as follows:
-
- TWO strips at 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″; ONE strip at 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″; ONE strip at 4″ x 5 1/4″.
- ONE strip of white cardstock at 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.
- Adhere the four patterned paper strips and one white cardstock strip to the scored black card base in the order shown above.
- Fold at score lines as shown above.
- Foam mount the Quickey the Quokka from the Die Cut Ephemera Collection to the right edge of the card front creating a “handle-like” opener to the card.
- Stamp “Happy Birthday” from the Kat Scrappiness Happy Day Stamp Set inside a speech bubble and then adhere another Quickey the Quokka Die Cut Ephemera below the sentiment.
- Fold the card back up and it’s ready to go into a regular A2 size envelope!
