Happy Sunday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a sweet anniversary card for some “Love Birds” in your life. Aren’t these 2 birds on the branch adorable? I used one of my favorite color combinations to make today’s card: navy, gray, and white.I used the Kat Scrappiness recently released Love Birds on a Branch die set to make today’s card. This die set includes a branch die, two birds, with wings and different faces. It also comes with layered leaves and hearts to fill in your love bird scene!
Card Details:
- Created an A2 side-folding white card base.
- Embossed a layer of white cardstock with a leaf patterned embossing folder and framed it in navy cardstock before adhering it to the card base.
- Die cut the 2 love birds out of navy polka dot paper and the branch out of dark gray cardstock.
- Die cut the wings out of white cardstock and embossed them with a polka dot embossing folder.
- Die cut the eyes and beaks out of metallic blue cardstock and the hearts out the dark blue metallic cardstock.
- “Built” the birds and adhered them to the tree branch and adhered to the front of the card.
- Die cut the Kat Scrappiness sentiment Happy Anniversary out of dark blue metallic cardstock and again out of dark gray cardstock, adhering them together, and then onto the card front.
