Happy Sunday, Crafty Peeps! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Father’s Day is next Sunday, so today I am sharing a card I sent to my son in Florida. He’s the father of 11 year old twins. I used several products from Kat Scrappiness, and kept the design masculine, clean, and simple.
I used the Kat Scrappiness Lumber Yard 6×6 paper pad and the Happy Father’s Day (Stacked) Word Die with Shadow to make today’s card.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 top-folding landscape card base using dark gray cardstock.
- Cut several 1″ strips from 3 different wood patterns from the Lumber Yard 6×6 paper pad.
- Adhered these strips to a white cardstock layer in 2 different directions, leaving a very narrow space between each patterned paper strip.
- Die cut the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment from teal cardstock and the word shadow from dark gray cardstock and adhered together.
- Adhered the finished sentiment to the center of the card
- Added 3 Medium Blue Jewels for the finishing touch!
