Joy Clair Designs is once again a super sponsor for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop by the Coffee Loving Cardmakers.
For my coffee card, I used the Joy Clair “Coffee Quotes” stamp set.
Knowing I wanted the sentiment “Always Time For Coffee” to be my focal point, I shopped my stash for miscellaneous coffee/clock items, including a Tim Holtz “clock” stencil and some wooden coffee-related embellishments.
On dark teal card stock I sponged some “Ground Espresso” ink (so appropriate) over the clock stencil to create a background. Using some coordinating patterned papers from my stash, I framed this background with pink patterned paper to match the paper I stamped my sentiment on, and then layered that on a coordinating teal die cut. A pink wooden heart on one of the mugs was the finishing touch!
