“Stewart the Sloth” with Stencil Layering Video

Hey Crafters! Priscilla here!  Today I’ll be using the new Stewart the Sloth‘” stamp set now available in Kat’s shop to make two C&S (Clean & Simple) cards. And stay tuned for a special bonus video showing how I used a “Two-Layer Stenciling” technique to create the background for both of these cards.

Here’s the new stamp set I used today to create my two C&S cards.

The first one features a yellow and red stenciled background using a Distress Oxide color combination that Kristina Werner showed on her blog a few months ago.

I used  Carta Bella’s “Wander & Find” stencil and combined it with stencil I created using a circle die from my stash.  Note my new stenciling tool, the Wendy Vecchi “MAKE ART Stay-tion All-In-One Magnetic Surface.” I LOVE 😍 it!

Here’s a short video showing you this “Two-Layer Stenciling” technique.

The second card features a Distress Oxide ink combo of “Squeezed Lemonade,” “Peacock Fathers,” and “Chipped Sapphire” for the stenciled background. Some “Mystical Leaves” sprinkles provide the finishing touch.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!

I entered these cards into the July 21-August 3rd  “AAA Clean & Simple Challenge.”

The supplies I used are listed and linked below.
