Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am on the Joy Clair Blog with two Valentine cards– both with just a hint of “vintage.” I used the Joy Clair clear stamp set, “Valentine Background Builder.”
For my first card, I stamped several of the images from this stamp set on vanilla card stock with black Versafine Pigment Ink before heat embossing them with clear embossing powder. I then soften the edges with brown ink to “age” the card a bit. For the bottom half, I used a patterned paper from Graphic 45. I adhered photo corners to this layer, “tarnished” them with the same brown ink, and mounted everything to a black A2 card base.
For my second card, I gold heat embossed all the images from the “Valentine Background Builder” set and softened the entire card front with “Aged Mahogany” Distress Oxide Ink.
I used photo corners on this card too, again “tarnishing” them with “Aged Mahogany” ink before mounting the top layer on a black A2 card base.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my first 2 Valentine cards of the season. Thanks for stopping by today!
Stay Safe . . .
Priscilla
