Happy Saturday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today’s valentine card showcases a die set from Kat Scrappiness that also serves as a harbinger of spring – the “Layered Tulip Bouquet Die Set”. Nothing says “Love” like a bouquet of white tulips!
This Layered Tulip Bouquet Die allows you to pop up the layers of tulips to give a 3D dimensional look.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 top-folding portrait white card base.
- Used a 3D “Tufted” design embossing folder to create a bold red layer and adhered onto the card base.
- Die cut the tulips using water color paper and painted them using green and gray distress inks.
- Popped up the tulip layers and adhered them to the tips of the green stems.
- Die cut the word “love” using the Kat Scrappiness “I Love You” with shadow word die and the “Be My Valentine” 6×6 paper pad.
- Adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the card and added 3 white hearts from the “Be My Valentine” sprinkle mix for a finishing touch!
