Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am on the Joy Clair Blog with a Mother’s Day card for my own Mom, created with the soft pastels of pink, blue, and green. I combined three different Joy Clair stamp collections to make today’s card.
To begin, I created an A2 card base and and added a stenciled pink plaid on the bottom and a patterned paper on the top. Then I heat embossed one of the tags from the Wedding Gift Tags stamp collection with white embossing powder and sponged “Kitsch Flamingo” “Speckled Egg,” and “Cracked Pistachio” Distress Oxide inks over it.
I added some silver cording to the top of the tag and then adhered the tag to the front of the card. The “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment, framed in “Cracked Pistachio” is from the Cup of Joy digital stamp set.
For a finishing touch, I sponged the same three Distress Oxide inks on a butterfly from the Just Butterflies digital stamp set, added three rhinestones to the body, and adhered it to bottom corner of the card.
