“You Rock” | Using Large Word Dies for Easy Card Making

Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I want to share some cards I made for the Kat Scrappiness Blog  featuring two of the  newly released word with shadow dies – “You Rock” and “Thank You.” Both fill the majority of an A2 card front, making card making so easy. Just adhere the die with or without the shadow backing on a card front that you’ve embossed, inked, or added patterned paper . . . and you’re done!

My first card features the “You Rock” die sentiment that I cut from red glitter card stock and adhered (without the shadow) to a rectangle stamped with a rock pattern I had in my stash and framed with dark gray card stock. Three of Kat‘s “Red Star Sprinkles” finished this card.

My second card showcases the new “Thank You” die.

For this card, I die cut the “Thank You” from white shimmer card stock and its shadow from regular white matte card stock. I had embossed the card front with a leaf patterned embossing folder before adhering the word/shadow sentiment. For finishing touches I added a die-cut leaf branch and three of Kat’s Little Lady Bug Sprinkles.”

Easy peasey!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!

Stay Safe . . .
