Let’s get Started!
I created my first card with these adorable koalas from Kat Scrappiness, using the “Koala-ty Time” stamp set.
For the background, I coated the “Bamboo Background” die cut with WOW! “Mint Macaroon” Embossing Powder and heat set it.
Because I wanted to create a shaker card, I coated a card stock panel with WOW! “Primary Ebony Regular” Embossing Powder and heat set also. I added Kat Scrappiness “Mint Green Confetti Sprinkles” for the shaker elements and finished the card with a sentiment strip heat embossed with the WOW! “Opaque Bright White Super Fine” Embossing Powder.
For my second card, I wanted to create a “vintage” feeling Christmas card using kraft card stock and the Kat Scrappiness “Christmas Gnome” stamp set, which I colored with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut out.
To create the strips, I placed 1/4″ “Scor-Tape” and 1/2″ “Scor-Tape”on a diagonal across a Kraft panel.
After pulling off the backings from the tape pieces, I coated the remaining adhesive with WOW! “Primary Apple Red Super Fine” Embossing Powder before heat setting it.
