Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Halloween cards are definitely my favorite to make! I love all the vivid colors this holiday has to offer, including bright purple and green, and of course black. I created a spooky scene for today’s card using these colors along with the new spider web stencil from Kat Scrappiness and black texture paste.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Sponged “Twisted Citron” oxide ink on all 4 edges of the card base.
- On a smaller cardstock layer, spread black texture paste through the Kat Scrappiness Spider Web stencil and set aside to dry.
- Sponged “Twisted Citron” again over the entire spider web to give it an eerie look.
- Using the Kat Scrappiness Spooky Happy Halloween Dies, die cut the sentiment out of bright green cardstock, adding a black cardstock shadow behind it and foam mounted it to the front of the card.
- Die cut two purple spiders using the Creepy Crawly Craft Dies and added apple green Nuvo Crystal Drops to their eyes.
- Adhered the spiders to the front of the card and sprinkled some Creepy Cauldron Sprinkle Mix for the finishing touch!
