It’s Ireland Somewhere . . .

Hi Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing two St. Patrick’s Day cards, the first featuring the new Kat ScrappinessEveryday Quokka” stamp set and a humorous sentiment from Riley & Co and the 2nd, a green rainbow, “Newton” the cat, and a pot of gold on a mini slimline card. Let’s get started!

I used tan card stock to create a A2 card base and added a top layer of green clouds created with MFT’s “Mini Cloud Edges” stencil, before stamping the sentiment “I put some Bailey’s in my coffee because it’s Ireland somewhere” from Riley & Co in the top corner.

I stamped my quokka on tan card stock and added some color to his face.  I “paper pieced” his outfit using the Doodlebug paper pack, “Lots O’ Luck Collection” and die cut him and his coffee mug using the coordinating dies. I tucked the quokka behind some grass made with the new Kat Scrappiness “Slimline Grass Border Die” and then gold heat embossed “Cheers” at the bottom. Some “Metallic Green Solid Star” sequins scattered about were the finishing touch.

For my second St. Patty’s card, I created a mini slimline card that showcases the new “Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge Dies,” the “Mini Slimline Double Stitched Dies,” and the “After the Rain Dies.”

I created the rainbow using 2 different shades of green and added “Newton” the cat from the “Newton’s Pot of Gold” stamp set. I stamped the “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” sentiment, also from this stamp set,  in green on the cloud included in the “After the Rain” die set. I tucked some Kat ScrappinessGolden Green Pinwheel Sequins” behind the blades of grass to finish this card.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out what’s NEW in Kat’s Shop, and follow my blog and Instagram for more “Kat Scrappiness Amazingness”!

Stay Safe . . .
