Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today is my very first post for Joy Clair Designs as a new member of their 20-21 “Brand Ambassadors”  team. I am honored to be amongst this group of talented designers and thankful to Martha Lucia Gomez Hernandez for giving me this amazing opportunity.

I have two cards to share with you today, both featuring the newly released stamp collection called “Prized Life” Digital Set.

Such a beautiful collection of digital images to color! My first card is a “clean & simple” sympathy card.  After creating an A2-sized landscape background in PicMonkey, a photo editing and design program, I printed out the sentiment only, “Sharing in your Sorrow,” on white card stock for my front panel.

Then I did the following:

1. Cropped the bird’s nest and leafy branches from this digital stamp collection, printed them out,  and die cut them on my Brother “Scan n Cut” machine.
2. Colored both images with my Spectrum Noir markers and adhered them to the A2 card panel.
3. Added three  light blue “Confetti Sprinkles” from Kat Scrappiness to match the robin’s eggs in the nest.

My second card is quite the opposite, in that it is a celebratory card, yet still fairly simple in design. Again I used the “Prized Life” Digital Set.

For this card, I cropped and die cut all the elements of this digital collection, including the “Celebrate” sentiment, and once again colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. Using a stencil, I created a gingham plaid background to set off the vivid colors of the daisy and leaves. I used some Kat Scrappiness “Red Flower Sprinkles” for the finishing touch.
