Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am on the Joy Clair Blog with a “St. Patty’s Day” friendship card featuring what else, but GREEN roses!
I used Joy Clair’s digital stamp set, “Bunch of Love” to create this card. The set features 1 flower bunch and 4 fabulous sentiments for many occasions.
I printed and then colored the roses using 3 shades of green from my Spectrum Noir “Try-Blend” markers. I cut the image out with my Brother “Scan N Cut” machine and set it aside to work on my background.
For the background, I sponge a light green ink over a plaid stencil and adhered it to a black A2 card base. I love to “paper piece,” so I printed out the roses image again, this time adhering a small piece of green plaid paper on some blank computer paper over the approximate area where I knew the bow would print.
I fussy cut out the bow and adhered it to the front of my green roses. So easy! The finishing touches were a stamped sentiment and a green resin shamrock from my stash.
