Nothing says “cuteness” like a quokka! A quokka (pronounced kwaa·kuh) is a short-tailed scrub wallaby from Australia. This little fella is known as the “World’s Happiest Animal”.

Happy Thursday Crafty Friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I’m sharing a Valentine”s Day featuring an adorable quokka holding a valentine for a friend.

I used the just released Kat Scrappiness Love Doodles stencil and Quokka Flowers stamp set and dies to make today’s card.

Card Details:

Created an A2 top-folding white card base.
Adhered a layer of black patterned paper to the card base.
Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge Rectangle Craft Dies.
Used the negative opening that was created with the Love Doodles stencil with white and red inks to create a background.
Adhered the stenciled background to the card base.

Stamped the quokka image from the Quokka Flowers stamp set using black Stazon ink on clear acetate and then die cut with the coordinating die.
Adhered the quokka to the red background.
Added a black patterned heart to his hands
Stamped “Hello my friend” to the top left side of the card.
