I combined products from both companies to create these three cards. Let’s get started!
My first card is a sympathy slimline card. It features the sentiment from Pink & Main‘s Sympathy Slimline Dies and one of the floral images from Joy Clair’s You Make Me Proud digital stamp collection.
I printed the floral spray on gray cardstock and then used the same bleaching technique I used on these cards to “paint” the image. To create the wood background, I scored white cardstock every 1/2″ and then brushed brown and blue inks over it for a “rustic” look.
My second card showcases another digital stamp from Joy Clair’s new “A Ray of Sunshine” release. This floral camera is from the Pamper Yourself Digital stamp collection. It and the sentiment “You deserve this” are perfect on a card for someone leaving on a well earned vacation. I printed the camera on tan cardstock and then “paper pieced” the roses and leaves with red and green cardstock.
I paired the camera with two of Pink& Main‘s Postage Dies to create a world map background.
My third and final card features a grumpy bear from Joy Clair‘s First Coffee digital stamp set.
I colored him with my Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend” markers and cut him out with my Brother “Scan N Cut” machine. The sentiment “Coffee Before Work” is also from the First Coffee digital stamp set.
I love the background of this card! I created it using two embossing folders from Pink& Main: the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and the Wide Stripe Embossing Folder. Together, they made for a cool masculine backdrop for this card.
Remember, to be entered to win the giveaway, all you need to do is comment at each stop along the way.

Great cards Priscilla!! Thanks for the inspiration
Very creative cards!
Super fun cards!
I’m crazy for slimline cards and yours is so pretty. Great tip for the wood look background!
I love your style!
Nice set of cards, but I am really liking the sympathy card. Great for a guy.
The bear is so cute! I also like the postage stamp die!
Such fantastic cards! Love the bear with the coffee cup…
Super cute cards!
So cute
These are amazing! Great designs! Love the coffee one!
Thanks, Meghan!
No wonder bear is grumpy … someone gave him tea!! LOL Love your cards.
beautiful designs love the warm colors
Love your techniques!!
Nice variety of cards for the hop! I love that cute bear!
Some interesting techniques…the wood effect, world map postage, and dual backgrounds are all effective. However, your “grumpy” bear doesn’t really look all that grumpy…more sleepy! Too cute.
Such cute cards. I really like the backgrounds
Such a unique style.. love the rustic looks!!
Love the card designs and how you combined them!
I LOVE your creations! The blue sentiment in your Sympathy Card really made this card pop! I appreciate your attention to detail in the background with your scoring and painting techniques to create the rustic wood look. Your second card inspired me to try digital stamps. I’m new to stamping/card making, and I am excited to try digital stamps. I especially like how the postage dies used with the camera and world paper defined your design. The last card is simply adorable! I am inspired by your use of two embossing folders and choice of colors to make a masculine card. Thank you for sharing your fabulous creations!
Thank you for all your detailed comments. That meant a lot to me that you noticed all those things. Priscilla
Love these hops. I get so much inspiration and learn of so many techniques. Thanks for sharing!
