Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla here. Today I have two fall slimline shaker cards using some of the newly released slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness. And stay tuned – at the end of this blog post, you can find out how to win the “Slimline Foliage Frame Die” featured on my second card.
To create Card #1, I first cut a slimline base (8.5″ x 3.5″) from red card stock and then, using the Newton’s Nook “Falling Leaves” stencil, created a foliage background with brown ink.
I die cut the shaker window using one of the “Fancy Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies” from gold card stock, backed it with acetate and foam strips, and set it aside to create the the shaker elements. I die cut the “Give Thanks” sentiment from the Kat Scrappiness “Give Thanks Wreath Die” and adhered it to the center of my card front. After sprinkling some of the “Fall Blessings” sequins, I adhered the shaker window on top.
My second card today showcases the “Slimline Foliage Frame Die.” After creating a slimline base (8.5″ x 3.5″) from mustard card stock, I used this foliage die to create a shaker window frame from patterned paper and the backed it once again with acetate and foam strips and set it aside.
I poured some of the “Aww-tum Sequins Remixed” collection over a rust card stock base and adhered the finished foliage frame on top. To finish the card, I colored and added the vase of flowers and a sentiment from the ‘Happy Fall Y’all” stamp set.

Shakers are my favorite type of card and I love the colors of Fall
(which we don’t get here in So. FL!), so of course I love this pretty
card. Love that pretty vase of flowers, too (it’s the same one on a
card you sent me last year that I display with my Fall decorations).
