“Let It Snow” – Spellbinders “Snow Much Fun” Small Die of the Month Club

These two adorable penguins are bundled up and ready to enjoy a little winter adventure—and they look like they’re having a flippin’ good time! Hello Crafty friends! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. For today’s card, I’m featuring the “Snow Much Fun” Die Collection, the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club kit for July. With two adorable “Santa” penguins playing together on a snowy day, this collection made it easy to create a cheerful winter scene filled with personality. And although this card would be perfect for sending holiday or winter wishes, the design is versatile enough to send to just about anyone for almost any occasion.

🧰 Spellbinders Products Used

📋 Card Details:

  • Using a birch tree embossing folder from my stash, embossed a layer of  Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and then swiped it with black ink over the debossed areas.
  • Added snow to the trees using white embossing paste and a snow stencil from my stash.
  • Adhered the snowy tree background over the red cardstock layer.

  • Die cut two snow banks using the sloping dies from the “Let It Snow” die collection, sprayed them with adhesive, sprinkled fluffy white snow topping over them, and then adhered them to the front bottom of the card.

  • Foam mounted the finished penguins to the snowbanks and the sentiment banner above them.
  • Added some additional snow flurries to the penguins using a white gel pen for the finishing touch!
